Sometimes I get asked if I do just a simple wash. The answer is NO! I do perform a wash service, but it is NOT a “simple wash”. In the case of regularly maintained aircraft, a wash may be all that is needed before a flight and this is a service we certainly perform. Yes we polish aluminum; yes we do polish painted surfaces; yes we perform very thorough interior cleaning. However, when a wash is needed, great attention to caring for you aircraft is taken to prevent damage and keep it air worthy. An aircraft should never be subjected to a quick, or even simple, wash. This 1977 Cessna 206 Turbo is ready for delivery to its new owner. Clean belly, polished spinner, cleaned interior and waxed exterior. Too bad the new owner won’t see it like this. It, unfortunately, must be flown to its new home.

This classic Ford Mustang was treated to some wet sanding and paint polishing. Reviving the mirror like finish was a bit challenging but absolutely worth the effort! Lets see what the next classic car detailing challenge will be.

Aircraft detailing has allowed me the opportunity to see some very historic aircraft. This P51 Mustang is no exception. Remember the freedom these pieces of history represent!
After a week of paint and window polishing, this beaver is back in the air! The owner/pilot graciously invited me along for Friday coffee at a local fly in. “We had to check out your work” he said.
